Life being a bit too interesting

Tonight my husband took it into his head that he wanted photos of himself dressed as Libelula with the Christmas lights in San Pedro. So we did.

My husband in San Pedro

It was fun, but I was tired afterwards. I get clumsy when I’m tired and somehow I wound up tipping a full mug of pumpkin soup into the bag where I keep my huge, half-finished tapestry. Of course that meant I had to thoroughly and gently rinse out the tapestry and the wool and the bag. It took over an hour, but I think it worked ok. The soup’s gone, the colours didn’t run, the canvas still has the design on it and the parts I’ve done aren’t noticeably felted. I just have to wait until it’s thoroughly dry before I do any more.

  1. Ooops! Pumpkin soup doesn’t sound like it would be easy to remove from tapestry.

The photos look great, especially the red one – and I really like the one of the dangling wool too.
