ASTRONOMY
Astrotur will hold workshops on astronomy in various neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz, each at 6pm, and observations though telescopes later.
Tuesday 6th July Observations in the Virgin’s Castle (the one on the hill at the north end of town) at 10 -11:30 pm
Wednesday 7th July Talk at 6:00 – 8:30 pm and observations at 9:30-11 pm, both in El Pilar.
Thursday 8th July Observations in the Virgin’s Castle (the one on the hill at the north end of town) at 10 -11:30 pm
Friday 9th July Talk at 6:00 – 8:30 pm and observations at 9:30-11 pm, both in San Telmo.
Also a Foucault’s pendulum which demonstrates the rotation of the earth, in the courtyard of the Casa Cabrera, from the 5-16 of July, 9am-2 pm and 5 -8 pm, Saturdays 10 am-2 pm

EXHIBITIONS
Book restoration Casa Salazar (starting Tuesday)
Paintings in the Convento de San Francisco (starting Thursday)
Craft fair in the ferry terminal (from Friday 9th- Wed 14th)
