Sunday photos: more bugs

I went for a walk near the west side of the tunnel, and I wound up photographing insects again. I have no idea what kind of fly this is, but it’s on a fennel flower and it was only about 3 mm long. One of the advantages of going for a walk early in the morning is the near horizontal light. I’ve been havng a nice time photographing backlit flowers this week. It’s also nice to get out early because it’s pretty hot by mid afternoon.
