6 Months Down…

It’s halfway through the year. On my two-submissions-a-week schedule, I should have submitted 52 stories by now. I’ve actually made 51. Pretty good, especially since I only managed 50 submissions in the whole of 2009. 52 submissions to go this year. I’d better get on with it.

Tiddles

Yesterday I went to see my friends in Franceses for lunch. On the way there I decided that if other people can give names to their cars, I can have a pet name for my laptop. So it’s called Tiddles. Because she’s aboutt he temperature and weight of a cat on my knees, and the vibrates slightly as though she’s purring. And yes, Tiddles came to Franceses, too. (So what…

Which is a puity, because I’m starting a writing course in…

60,000 reasons to celebrate

October 15, 2007

Yay! I wrote 50,000 words of a novel in November 2004, and one way and another, it got stuck there. By March 2005 it was still only 54,500, and I stopped again. Well since late September I’ve been trying to write every day, and I’ve usually manged 200 words or so. At the weekend I finally reached 60,000 words. There’s still a long way to go, but at least it’s…
