Zombie Apocalypse: Day 3

We have a view, thank goodness
I can’t tell you about supermarkets in general, but the one in our village is open and stocked. Yes, even with loo roll. I went today for bread and fresh veg and things were pretty normal. No shopping trolleys for now, which solves the problem of hundreds of people grabbing the handle in the same place. You put your shopping in your shopping bag, take it out at the till and then put it back. There were only about 5 people in there and we kept a metre apart. But my goodness I enjoyed the two minute walk each way. We’ve all said how glad we are to have a balcony wth a great view. I’ve been more productive and active today, which is good. It’s even given me an idea for a romance story. So far there are 5 confirmed cases on La Palma, one hospitalised and recovering and 4 at home without symptoms. We’re not seeing the explosive growth that Italy saw. So far we’re doing well. #StompThatCurve

Sheila came to La Palma with a six month contract and has stayed 24 years so far. She used to work as a software engineer at the observatory, but now she's a writer and Starlight guide.
