  For the last few days, Venus and Jupiter have been very close together in the evening sky. I wanted to take photos on Wednesday and Thursday, but it was cloudy. I wished I’d asked to go up to the observatory, above the clouds. Lucky me, I got permission to go there on Friday evening to take photos. I’m really glad I made the effort.

The Canaries win Tournament: Earth 2014

Three photography exhibitions

There are three good photography exhibitions in Santa Cruz de La Palma. The winning entries and runners up of the 5th International Astrophotography Competition are on display in the island’s museum until March 17th. They are jaw-droppingly good. There are at least two art exhibitions well worth a visit in Santa Cruz de La Palma at the moment. Fotonature Photography Classes 2012

From 23rd – 25th March, Fotonature will run photography classes on La Palma.
