An exhausting, productive day

Santa Cruz’s New Beach is Open

Santa Cruz has been building a new beach for ages. This morning it was finally opened. I got to hear at lunchtime, and immediately went for a paddle. Of course a big wave came along and now I have damp trousers, but it was well worth it. I’d forgotten how much fun it is to be eight years old for a while.

I did it!

I did it! I typed the magic words THE END I still have to process the feedback from my beta readers for the last 10 (short) chapters, but I got to the end. Just in time too. La Palma is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the starlight declaration and I’m going to be very busy indeed from now until Friday.
