Today is the last school day before Carnival, so most kids have a fancy-dress party. Which might be why we found a blue box parked outside the house this morning.
Santa Cruz de La Palma is starting carnival properly on Friday evening. There’s a “Wig Fiesta” from 5-10 pm, and the kids’ parade at 6 pm, from the Alameda to the carnival stage. I got to the doctor’s yesterday, and she prescribed ear drops. They’re great! After just 24 hours of treatment, I woke up this morning without thinking, “Eek!
