Galaxies and other Universes

Merche Martin Morillo has an exhibition of paintings in the Sala O’Daly on the Calle Real, in Santa Cruz de La Palma, entitled “Galaxies and other Universes”.

I like the paintings of fishes, but I prefer the astronomical themed paintings. Merche has interpreted subjects like pulsars and asteroids freely, rather than attempting copies of astronomical photos, which makes for a much more interesting result.

The exhibition is open from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The last day is Saturday 29th, when it will pen from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. Well worth a look.
