My friend is waiting for a COVID test result. Since we had coffee together on Wednesday I’m also waiting for her COVID result to see if I need a test myself.
It’s not as bad as it sounds. She has a slight fever and feels achy, but really it’s much more likely to be a normal cold. But seeing as she’s a teacher she felt the responsible thing to do was to double check. I quite agree, and I’ve stayed home all day too, just in case. We should know by the end of the day.
I probably should have worked hard on plotting the novel, but I’ve mostly just relaxed.
UPDATE: The test was negative. Whew!
