Sunday photo: stars

I had a go photographing myself with stars. The trick is to have a long exposure for the stars (in this case, ISO 3200, 15 seconds, f4) plus a flash photo for me (or anything else you’d like in the foreground.) I set the flash to half power. Sunday photos: sunbeams and a dead bush

Autumn has arrived. It’s getting quite chilly at the top of the mountain and I drive part of the way home through the clouds. On Saturday I showed a winter school group around the observatory and didn’t finish until 16:45.
