The lockdown drags on, and I keep translating. I’m on the last of the current telescopes, so fairly good progress. Fiction doesn’t seem to be happening much the last few days although I have sent one short story off to someone who might buy it. This is starting to get me down. I suppose it’s not surprising after a month. I have it easier than a lot of people, but I’m longing to go for a walk in the woods to smell leaf mold and maybe even roll in it. I’m still writing. Luckily I’ve been able to backup all my personal files and then re-install the operating system so it could have been much worse. It was still time consuming and there’s probably still more to sort out. I hope to post photos tomorrow.
I have finished with German exams. Now I just have to wait for the result. Oh, and help organise n end-of-course dinner for my class mates Fertig is German for “Finished” or “Done”.
