The annual meet-up of tall ships will take place in Santa Cruz de la Palma for Christmas, for the 16th year running. The ships will arrive on December 24th and leave on the 26th. Hobbing with the Nobs

La Palma is the first place in the world to get official recognition as a Starlight Reserve and Starlight Destination.   Last night La Palma officially got its certificates as the world’s first Starlight reserve and the world’s first Starlight Tourist Destination from the Starlight Foundation. Briefly, a Starlight Reserve is a place with excellent night skies, and a commitment to keep them that way.
