Photos of the week: insects on flowers

On Tuesday I went for a photo stroll with my friend Petra. Looking at the photos now, I think I see a bit of a theme here although i wasn’t conscious of one at the time.

It made a nice break from studying for my German exams next week. I’ve been studying so hard that I’ve starting thinking in German sometimes (which is a good sign) and occasionally finding it hard to speak Spanish (which is a pain.)

I think this is some sort of tiny wasp. It’s certainly got a wasp waist.
