Sheila came to La Palma with a six month contract and has stayed 24 years so far. She used to work as a software engineer at the observatory, but now she's a writer and Starlight guide.

Google image search showed me several copies of this picture, variously cropped. One shows a little more than yours, and has SYZM.ORG on the bottom. The photographer is not credited on that site, and I think the person who posted it there is just another person sharing stuff. I didn’t have any luck tracking down the photographer. The fact that the calves are collared and standing on pavement rather than in the wild is probably significant.
