Again, I’m not really happy with my writing progress this week. I did start making notes on my characters which involved getting to grips with Scrivener a little more. The next agents I want to query ask for a writer’s CV, so I’ve been busy finding out what the heck you put in that.

Again. my lack of writing progress is partly because I’ve had a social life. On Monday I went to a workshop in Rivendell run by Tor Carberry, and I’m glad I did. I’m a bit clearer on where I want to go in life. (Spoilers: I’ll still be writing). I went hiking with my friend Petra on Thursday, this time to La Peña del Diabolo (Devil’s Rock) in El Paso. It’s the first time either of us had been there and it was absolutely lovely, a mass of wildflowers.

Sheila came to La Palma with a six month contract and has stayed 24 years so far. She used to work as a software engineer at the observatory, but now she's a writer and Starlight guide.
