Sunday photos: fern shadows

The shadow of a fern on a mombrezie leaf.

It’s mostly been a “more of the same” type week.

I’ve read more of “Murder by Starlight” aloud, and now I’m up to chapter 78, so 10 more chapters done.
I’ve carried on practising touch typing, and I’m slowly getting there.

I’m still doing 10 ideas a day, not always plot ideas for the next novel and it’s getting easier.

I also spent quite a bit of time working on a competition entry. The prize is to get the begining of your novel in front of agents and publishers, so it would be great to get onto the shortlist! Excuse me, I hve to go now because the deadline is tomorrow.

Sheila came to La Palma with a six month contract and has stayed 24 years so far. She used to work as a software engineer at the observatory, but now she's a writer and Starlight guide.
