I got a couple of day’s work looking after some Canadian visitors to the island. (Actually they’re Americans who’ve lived in Canada for a long time.) Nice people. UPDATE: In Los Sauces on Saturday, they’ll be holding the 60s wedding. The wedding procession with start from Plaza de la Cruz at 6 pm and will wind through the streets. After the wedding itself, there’ll be a public dance with lots of 1960s music. Carnival used to end on Shrove Tuesday, but these days it continues until the following Sunday evening.
