Sunday photos: Cat nursing

My patient

I’m house sitting and cat-nursing. That’s my patient, who had a nasty abscess drained just before his humans were about to leave for a much-needed break. He needs antibiotics twice a day. Could I possibly?

OK, so these are the friends who let me use a corner of their office for about a year now, and I’m quite sure I would never have finished three books without that. It’s also a lovely peaceful chance to write. Besides, they have lots of interesting books, a wide-screen TV and Netflix.

So I spend most of my time in the house, keeping an eye on the patient, but this morning I abandoned him for a couple of hours and went for a walk along the LP9 near La Mata. Being me, I found some bugs on flowers. I also found a spring I hadn’t known about, so I have something new to blog about on Tuesday.

I’m a bit disappointed with my writing output, given the lack of interuptions, but I have producedtwo new articles on Medium.com:

Dragon Trees: Broccoli on Steroids

Dewdrops: miniature worlds
