Sunday Photos: The River Spring, Garafia

It feels a bit odd to be back. For the moment I’ve stopped work on the novel and I’m back the the Spanish 3rd edition of the guide book, checking that I’m handing over the right files for layout. It’s not the most interesting job but it needs doing and I want a break from the novel before I go back to it, so I can look at it with fresher eyes.

Of course there’s a week’s housework and laudry to catch up on. I’m also beta reading a friend’s novel, but that’s fun.

And I’m trying to fit in a little decluttering too. That’s a very large, ongoing project, but every little helps. So I’m not racking up the word count but I am keeping busy doing useful stuff.

The photos are from a spring near San Antonio del Monte in Garafia. I’m not sure what the thingy in the last photo is for really, but it looks like a tiny house and I’m pretty sure it’ll find its way into a story sooner or later. The “door” was about 8″/20 cm high.
