Sunday photos: a moth and a couple of flies

The late spring flowers are in full bloom at the observatory, and lots of insects are enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet. I’ve had a very busy few days. I’ve now finished my course and renewed my starlight guide qualification. I’ve been the guide for 3 cruise ship excursions and three film crews.       It’s been another frantic week. I’ve had plenty of guiding work again, plus the Starlight guide course. My cold is better, but I trapped my hand between my car door and the wing mirror of an adjacent car. I count myself extremely lucky that it wasn’t very much worse.
